Sri Lanka: Educating Children (Tax Deductible)
Your donation to this project supports the education of children and young people on Levellon Group of Tea Estates, in particular the Colgrain Division, in Kandy, Pupuressa, Sri Lanka.
Between 2015-2019, this project will support approximately 250 children in years 5 to 11 at school, so that educational achievement can improve amongst disadvantaged children living on tea estates.
Satyodaya, a non-government organisation which has been working amongst tea estate families since 1972, is working alongside the community to encourage hope, interest and understanding of the value of education.
Here’s how the funds will be used:

One month funding for an education awareness program for children, parents and community support organisations. It provides staff, food and travel costs for the program. The program will inform and motivate participants to support children’s education. |
