Sri Lanka tea
For nearly 30 years we at Tradewinds (and the organisation from which we grew, the World Development Tea Co-operative) have been buying teas from Stassens in Sri Lanka. Stassens is a wholly Sri Lankan owned company, and has a long record of commitment to its employees' welfare, and to providing jobs, educational and social development opportunities and health care to people in rural areas.

Certified organic and fair trade tea
This tea comes from model tea estates managed and controlled by our Sri Lankan agent, Stassens. It is certified organic by NASAA (National Association of Sustainable Agriculture Australia).

An ideal gift
Family Blend and Superior Blend teas are both available in attractive handwoven boxes made by village women in the Dambadeniya region. This employment project was initiated by our supplier, Stassens, more than 25 years ago.
